How you disappoint me once more
Saying things that make believe
That you are different than
Your actions have found you to be
But just as your actions find you
In my mind you stay
'Cause I do not have the trust
To believe your words as truth
The feelings that were once there
Have quickly stolen away
Saved for that someone
Who will deserve and cherish them
For that is what I long for
And your chance has passed you by
So I move on and ready myself
For someone who deserves
The affection I will give
