Ode To Friendship Poem by Carli Smith

Ode To Friendship

Dedicated to Rachel

Little feet, giblet teeth,75 pound head
The shivers you got when I put my cold feet on your legs in your moms bed

The days we spend short of breath finding embarrassing stories to tell
The bus rides we’ve spent discussing how Brossette’s feet resemble Christine’s smell

The comments, the stalkers, the milk you and Hannah have shared
I wouldn’t want anything else, like it could get better out there

I wouldn’t change a single thing, you wouldn’t change your mind
Never a better friend could I want, never better could I find
