Ode To Neruda Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Ode To Neruda

Rating: 5.0

'I need the sea
because it teaches me' Neruda

Your Poetic genius,
Is like the ocean vast,
Wheat glimmering,
From the heavenly stars,
Intimate yet far,
Passion,
Sweet and raw as tears,
The moon of the rains kiss,
Sun of nocturnal winds,
Upon a Chile ever rose,
Sonnets,
With their fishnets,
And fine bonnets,
On loves velvet repose,
Naked sighs,
Upon,
the galloping breasts of waves,
waxen and exotic shores,
That shimmers on and on
