O Unforeseen, mysterious guest of fate,
You step where plans have drawn their rigid lines;
Your sudden hand can terrify or elate,
And turn our certainties to shifting signs.
You teach the heart to bend, the mind to yield,
To treasure moments unprepared, untaught;
Through your surprise, the hidden truths revealed,
And lessons come that careful thought had sought.
Not all your coming brings despair or pain,
Sometimes you lift the soul to heights unknown;
A sudden gift, a blessing in the rain,
A spark that lights what careful hands disown.
O Unforeseen, we honor and we fear,
For in your steps, life's full intent is clear;
You carve new paths where none before had been,
And show the strength that waits in the unseen.
