Of Drawing A Circle Poem by Alnaver Baltazar

Of Drawing A Circle

I still remember
Each and every thing that happened,
Even though as I leave,
You would find someone to hold onto.

I still can recall everything,
As clear as the water,
It could be just yesterday,
Perhaps last year,
Or maybe just a moment ago,
…I can still vividly feel the whole thing.

As I sat down in solitude,
The sound of the wave
Is like your voice,
…Slowly crawling through my very being.

As I watch the water move,
I could still remember your graceful ways,
I could still remember your thoughtful ways.
And as I gaze at the slowly setting sun,
Your sweet, innocent smile I would think of
Again…
The remnants of yesterday are all coming back,
And would offer serenity still

Right now,
The sun is waving goodbye,
So as my remembering of you
And unto your wholeness,
And to my aloneness

Tomorrow…
I would continue my journey.
However,
I would continue remembering all,
As clear as the water,
It could be just yesterday,
Perhaps last year,
Or maybe just a moment ago,
…I can still vividly feel the whole thing
…I can still feel everything
