The past is a cliché' of panoramic sights,
Lonely years of restless time,
A phoenix soars to dazzling heights,
With fleeting souls above azure skies,
I can tell, Oh I can feel,
How one cries...
Hear me love there must be you and I,
To live and win this emptiness of life,
Say my love that I am not alone-
An old disfigured stone,
Tell me love that you and I are one.
The winds of change came blowing nigh,
All that's left are shadows and I,
Can you trust my lonely heart?
With all these changes we could start...
Tell me love- as I long to hear,
Those sweet nothings, whisper in my ear,
Awake or sleep I don't really care,
As long as you're there...
Even in my sleep and only on my mind.
