Of Simple Pleasures Poem by Piccola Topo Gigio

Of Simple Pleasures

I’d say I like strawberries, when they're juicy.
And cherries, for their scent so fruity.
I like Winter, when I can walk onto the snow,
And Christmas, for its million lights that glow.

A walk through the park, right after dark.
The smell of earth, as rain clears its dirt.
A day at the ocean, enhances my emotion.
And sun of morning, with its colors soaring.

Stargazer lilies, and giant red poppies.
A full moon in rising, conjures synchronicity.
Enchanted by thunder and lightning's ferocity.
That's simply me, in all of my revelries.
