Of Their Loving Home Poem by Tommy2Souls YellowLivered

Of Their Loving Home

Of Their Loving Home

She placed a candle
Upon the mantle
She was hesitant
But she struck the match
She said a prayer
As she lit the wick
This was the first night
That she'd feel hunger
He had left their home
And he even vowed
Never to return
Her soulmate had left
Due to a quarrel
Would he think of her
Would she think of him
What of their silence
Will they ever speak
Will they ever forgive
Only time will tell
If he will prepare
A romantic meal
For the two to share
When they were happy
In the simpler times
Their tummies were full
And their hearts content
They've worn many shoes
And walked many miles
Of two they were one
Where did they go wrong
His poor Juliet
Her poor Romeo
Such tragic stories
Seldomly end well
Will they overcome
Such great obstacles
Placed upon their paths
And what will become
Of their loving home

P.s. I wrote this one for my Becky…I will try to continue to write to her whenever I get the chance…I'm sorry people…I am new to this and I haven't a clue as to what type of a poem this is…
