Offshore Cruising Poem by Pierre Rausch

Offshore Cruising

Into the blurs of countryside cruising
First to mention the shore's who's who
Values of art and artists
Who are watching all this

Offshore cruising, for God's sake
Before you move your car
Offshore deepens the meaning of companionship
Offshore cruising

With the same brave, soft lamps
The guests are not watching
In the midst of our control
The sky with as much depth

Offshore cruising, for God's sake
Before you move your car
Offshore deepens the meaning of companionship
Offshore cruising

Perhaps I will never dance
When she lid her lamps
To accept out of fortitude
The fortitude that comes out such an acceptance

Offshore cruising, for God's sake
Before you move your car
Offshore deepens the meaning of companionship
Offshore cruising

Perhaps I will never dance
And painting with blood on my hands
About what had happened
My blood's in colours heart red

Offshore cruising, for God's sake
Before you move your car
Offshore deepens the meaning of companionship
Offshore cruising
