'Oh Brave Army' Poem by Ruhul Momin Nipon

'Oh Brave Army'

'Oh brave army'
Ruhul Momin Nipon

Today is February twenty-fifth
Today in the homes of Bengal
A cry of grief.
Today is not last year
In the bloodshed of fifty-seven soldiers.
They are brave soldiers of Bengal
They are martyrs, they are immortal and great.
The tears of the martyred family
Who will give peace?
Raise both hands and pray
May the soul of the martyr rest in peace.
