For all the love I’ve lavished on you,
For all the comforts I’ve ensured for you,
For all sacrifices I’ve made for you,
And for all the pains I’ve endured for your sake,
The reward you gave me in my time of distress,
When my worth was impaired and my wealth was depleted,
When you began to compare me with smarter younger men,
Has broken my heart and led to my tragic end.
Tearfully I take leave, carrying the baggage you cruelly packed
With myriad charges, scandals, and numerous accusations
Which jointly and severally make me unfit
To live with you anymore and justifies your cruelty.
