Oh Heart Of Mine Poem by Jennifer Habib

Oh Heart Of Mine

Oh heart of mine…
Revived from a long slumber
In the sadness of winter
Beating slowly to the rhythm of another
Oh heart of mine…
Do I sense emotions stir within you
Changing your color of a frosted blue
To a shade of a pale pink hue
Oh heart of mine…
Does he call your name at night?
Making you dance under the moonlight
Wishing to be held in his arms so tight
Oh heart of mine...
Follow his deep sorrowing plea
Reaching his burning heart and see
Together you both were meant to be
