Oh How Glorious(?) - Poem by Mark Caea

Oh how glorious(?)
O kay ganda!
my celebrated uphill struggle...
my myriad hard slog, and stinking
baseness of a life.

O putik na kay giliw,
salabat na kay tamis...
sanhi ng pagtugis kay uwak, datapwat
ang kanyang piko ang tumalop sa batong
singtigas ng tinapay.

Oh how the home of the brave
and the land of the...
freaks sought pointless victory, (thus careworn
carrions left deaf and dumb) prolong the agony of
my brothers...
while they (oh how they?) , scoff our putik
and drink our sweet salabat.

Did you enjoy your supper
mahal kong senyorito?
Is it not glorious(?)
