Oh Mother Poem by Marvis Ayebor

Oh Mother

Rating: 5.0

Oh mother!
Holidays, you worked
Tough times, you loved
On rough roads, barefooted you walked
Dark nights, bright light you was
Dark mornings, brighter nights you trust

Oh mother!
An epitome of beauty
Brought out comedies from tragedy
Made sorrow a past movie.

Oh mother!
Turned happiness into a new home
Sat and watch the young ones grow old
With no teeth you broke bones
Whenever you watched I toy with tigers and strong stones
What you had you gave for my excellent tommorow
Blessed to have you as my back bone.

Oh mother!
Your wish, good words which made me
Your will, your all you gave me
At your absence yet you saved me.

Oh mother!
One who brought me this far
Without shade you made shelter
Thank you my agape lover.

Oh mother
