Oh! Mother Earth Poem by RUPALI SAINI

Oh! Mother Earth

Rating: 5.0

For how long... you have waited,
Pleaded intensely while going mutilated.
But I- the man was so greed sedated,
Didn't heed & made you contaminated.

You pleaded time and again,
Tried to show the abyssal pain.
But I- the man was a vile insane,
Extorted & made the boon a bane.

Very justified is your rabid ire,
Up to head you were in a mire.
But I- the man took you on hire,
Now bogged when it is haywire.

You have your own course of healing,
Majestic are your means and the dealing.
And I- the man, now plead you; appealing,
O MAA! ...
Calm your wrath, my wrongs I'm feeling.
