Oh! Mr. Drunkard! Poem by Thoisquare Tongbram

Oh! Mr. Drunkard!

Oh! Mr. Drunkard!
Told you not to do it.
Told you but you didnt get it.

I stopped you the first time.
Now i let you go the second time.
And see what happens now.
Next morning's hangover will make you bow.
You know you suck in drinking.
I know its irresistibly tempting.
But why not some sense before you lose it all.
Before you sway and roll on the floor like a ball.

This could have been a different night,
But now i have to say 'the drunken one is right',
For there is no use in picking a fight.
The 'elixir' in their hands, they are might.

Oh! mr drunkard!
Before it burns your throat,
Before you are in a swaying boat,
Before your words start to stink,
Think twice before you drink.
