Old Man's Letter Poem by Jude Ryans

Old Man's Letter

Would You Look At The Time And The Day
The Past Is So Close But So Far Away
Laying In This Bed Waiting To Leave This Earth
Any Day Now I'll Be Laying Under The Dirt
Everyday These Days Come To A Few
Time To Call The Family And End The Feud
Time To Reunite With Old Friends
For Times Running Out It's Almost The End
The Girl I Loved From My Youth - My Wife Good-bye
My Childen I'll Be Sure To Leave Gifts
And A Photo To Remember Me By
Laying Here Waiting Looking At Some Old Pictures
My First Time At The Fair Heres One Of Me With Some Action Figures
Yes Life Was So Sweet
From Days Of My Childhood Living Without A Care
To Even Times When Time Got Unfair
Remembering My Teenage Years When I Went To Prom
When I Was Taking My Date Home My Car Broke Down
And We Got Picked Up By My Mom
Funny Times But Any Ways
What Is More To Say?
My Time Is Here To Pass Away
I Did Have A Nice Life I Can Say That
But Why Now That I'm Here It Felt Like It Went By So Fast?
