Old Rusty Spurs Poem by Carolyn Buck

Old Rusty Spurs

I glanced down below,
saw your old rusty spurs,
Lord, they bring back the memories,
days long since occured,
they've ridden many a bull;
not to mention the steers,
those days are captured in this
small corner here
The mind reminisces such
good days gone by,
each time I open the door;
catch the spurs with my eye,
truly a mark in my history book be,
relished memories;
what they mean to me
They're prized possessions;
forever to be,
heartfelt; good times of dayd used to be,
I can't throw them away,
they're dear to my heart,
these rusty old spurs and I
will never part.
