Older Than The Sea Poem by Tina Baaklini

Older Than The Sea

My love,

Let me tell you a story
Older than the sea
When we were beings of light
When love was pristine as sunlight

We were one soul, one heart
Not yet split apart
We breathed purity, innocence
Duality existed not, just oneness

We were living in harmony
Then, when the earth got its crust
We wore a body of dust
And our soul was split into us

You've been the same since the start
The same caring, tender heart
The same loving, devoted soul
Thus without you, I cannot live at all
