On A Moonlight Night Poem by Mia Armstrong

On A Moonlight Night

Rating: 4.8

Tell me a love story,
A boy and a girl.
Meeting one night in the light of the moon,
Her eyes glinting like stolen pearls.

A kiss by the riverside,
One loving embrace.
Holding eachother for heat,
She steals a look at his face.

Taking in the details,
The way her hair moves in the chill.
Her lips shining in the moonight,
Her arms beckoning for him.

His arm drapes around her shoulder,
They smile as they depart.
Another night for the secret lovers,
Hiding away in the dark
