On A Plane Poem by Ragy Sandid

On A Plane

Stranger things
To give trust to the air
To know a body suspended
Is everywhere

People engineered
Metal to beat disaster
To defeat fear
And become its master

A boat flying
Cabin pressure control
People aspiring
To float above all

Time is lost
As latitudes blur
And its limits crossed
And its wrath incurred

Cultures agree
About life and living
A moment of humanity
Equal taking and giving

Hostility supressed
No sense in the waste
Humanity well dressed
Temper put to good taste

Memories shared
Where sharing is unexpected
Love or hate the air
Humans are best corrected
