The world
Becomes small
On a railway platform
Irrespective of
Cast, color or creed
Old and young
Rich and poor
Known, unknown
Meet
Arrive and depart
The loved ones
Are received and sent off
Tears of happiness
And sorrow flow
Bustles
With noise and activity
Anxiety leaves
When the train arrives
Turns in to place with
Death like silence
Once it whistles
Leaves
For its destination
The world
Becomes still
On a railway platform
