On Being Interveiwed Poem by Timothy Parkes

On Being Interveiwed

Met a nice man today,
Bedside manner,
You might say.

Momentarily condescending,
Obsessed with a scene,
And I, Green.

Paid-for press interest,
Available for truth,
A waged sleuth.

The powerful merchant,
Of cooler than cool,
I'm his fool.
