On Brokenness Poem by Meng Lim Dr

On Brokenness

In response to a sentence on 'brokenness' in Wuthering Heights:

Most hearts break, either self-created or broken by others, but more often by the forces of fate. To live is to suffer, to a high degree or less, but every such experience is an inexorable aspect of living.

But brokenness is the ultimate measure of one's courage, faith, acceptance and redemption.

In this, one can triumph over adversity and suffering, and emerge larger than life
