On Foot With Eurydice Poem by Pat Weddle

On Foot With Eurydice

Rating: 5.0

Grenadine whisper
Awakening rosebud
Petals tossed only to rebound
Together we walk
To the deepest nadir
Puffed up Pride dominates whilst
Staring at you
Breathing throaty phenomenal pitch
Stirring through rain
Postponed at the river

Laughing from the citadel engages
Incantations of lips
Of infinite undulations
Devotion in the chorus of the passion
Ovation professes ignorance from the semblance
Mutually prohibited incandescence
