On Marriage Poem by Katusiime Jeresi

On Marriage

Perhaps time
Has finally delivered her wickedest blow
And in mock pity
She reminds me that
Perhaps receiving love,
I should forget.
And the two that become one
Should in my case remain
Just as they are.
