Crouched and crept
jumped and leaped
That golden body gleaming under the sun
that one in bold stripes broke into a run
It ran and ran after the prey
It dived but missed the boar in grey
It stopped and panted
a life it had granted
The beauty strong did not moan
nor around the river did it roam
It was determined and brave
for more adventures it did crave
It sat down posed in best
thinking what a tiger could do next
