On That Day Poem by Alicia Rose

On That Day

That day I remember, as clear as a bell
That day I remember, it was a bloody hell:

Sun was shining,
Hearts ablaze,
No one saw, their awful gaze
Boy and girls, teachers alike
All thought that they'd be going home that night
There were two boys
But no one cared
Always picked on
In despair
They found a 'solution'
To 'get them back'
And they took some guns, off a rack
They waltzed into school
Knowing their fate
Now, no one dares speak that date
