RIC S. BASTASA

On The Barrenness Of The Desert - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

it does not mean that on that arid desert
where barrenness defines itself
in an ocean of sand
a space of heat
a huge territory of howling silence,

be surprised when soon you stop and look upon a little patch
a very tiny violet flower says
love lives here
love lives here.
