On The Sea Shore Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Careful is a wave, never to harm,
just enjoy the pleasure of it's warmth,
Froth of happiness at our feet,
touches us for a while,
that's how it greets.

To and fro do the waves go,
we sit on the shore,
just waiting for more.
we glide in it for a while,
however old we are it does makes you a child.

As tender as a mother's touch, it can be,
comes forth to us, just to give that hug.
that we've been longing all this while,
the forthcomming wave makes us smile.

Castles of sand, we do build big and small,
yet we don't mind when a wave takes it all.
The water it splashes does make us laugh,
and we welcome another wave to us,
without another thought.

Like time it comes and waits just for a while,
it comes to you, ofcourse and you do smile.
So whenever you get bored,
just think there's always a sea shore.
