On The Streets Of Heaven Poem by Abdul-Qadir Abdul-Mumin

On The Streets Of Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Walking on the streets of heaven
Seeing this beautiful garden
Going around all this gorgeous maiden
Forgetting about all my burden
Trees of gold
The fruits so bold
Drinks of your choice; hot and cold
There is a place like this, I remember I was told
Drinking from ivory, for that was my gourd
Swimming in the clouds
Making me feel I was performing for some crowd
I could hear enjoyment's voice and it was very loud
I found myself in the land of relaxation
The peace increasing like a promotion
The creatures minding their businesses, they was no comotion
Everything here is perfection
The fruits on the trees remind me of the rainbow
The grass reminds me of the traffic lights telling you to go
The light, not too bright and not too low
The wind blowing, not too fast and not too slow
The river of enjoyment is carrying me away
The land is crystal clear in not clay
I realised I'm enjoying all this for free, I did not pay
I don't know how I got here today
This place is so relaxing
Heaven is so exciting
I was getting used to the feeling
When I realised I was dreaming
