On The Turnpike Of Life Poem by Noah Body

On The Turnpike Of Life

I'm just a nowhere man
Doing whatever I can
To keep myself sane
In the left hand lane
On the turnpike of life
On which pain is rife
And darkness the rule
You learned in school
Hammer to the floor
While outside the door
Everything is roses
The soul decomposes
