On The Wings Of A Bird I Fly Poem by Tina Baaklini

On The Wings Of A Bird I Fly

My love,

On the wings of a bird I fly
When I look in your tender eyes
My heart roams as a butterfly
With golden wings that reach the sky

Waterfalls of love flood my soul
They spring from your tender heart
Your love makes me wonder: Am I just born?
For without true love, life is hardly borne

Your devotion turned me to a new person
I removed all veils I used to adapt to a place
That echoed not with my soul's face
I finally feel liberated from a false life

On the edge of life
I delve into the vastness of opportunities
And for the first time of my life
I choose myself. I choose to walk the inner path that takes me to the real me.
