On this day we saw change
We are witness to a new salvation
The world stopped spinning for a moment in time
It no longer tilted on its axis
A breath of fresh air was inhaled
If we could only hold it for an eternity
Let our tongues take the time
To taste a cornucopia of hope and vision
Let us digest its true meaning
Let us balance on this new world
And make this new sensation our time
Let us create a new wave of enthusiasm
And spread the seed of a new prosperity
Let us be the leaders of this drum roll
Let our voice be the thunder heard round the world
Let us celebrate in unison
On this day, night became light
The curtain of a new play has risen
