Once Again Poem by Louie Thompson

Once Again

One day I'll join him,
in his kingdom high above.
We'll see each other again,
and embrace one another with our love.

He'll never know,
just how much he missed.
But I'll always remember,
the first time we kissed.

Our love for one another,
before was so great.
But now he seems different,
like he's no longer my soul mate.

I can see the love,
for me in his eyes.
I can tell he truly loves me,
my instinct never lies.

But now it's not as solid,
or as great as before.
He seems like he needs something,
something different, something more.

We'll love each other,
now and foreber more,
but things won't be the same,
not like before.
