Once In A While - Poem by Alexander Foald

Once in a while
I want to take the day off of my life
Spread my wings wide and fly to the blue sky

Once in a while
I want to take a deep look at your green eyes
Searching for a place to hide from all these lies

Once in a while
I want to take part of your life
Make some beautiful memories you’d remember by

Just once in a while
I want to stay by your side
Before tomorrow comes and takes me out
