Once More - Poem by joyjit sengupta

She's not the one
You are looking for
It's only her shadow

Between the years
You lived apart
One after the other
Storms rose in her life

Perhaps she wouldn't
Be here today
But for you
And your part time love

They say the magic of love
Never dies
The older it gets
The better it tastes
Like old cellar wine

Go hold her hand
Give her a hug
And a kiss

From the shadows
She shall emerge
Radiant, brilliant
Like the rising sun
Turning back the wheels of time.
