Once Upon A Love Poem by Asma Khan

Once Upon A Love

On the dry leafed book of life,
I trace our names with rich soil of faith,
sometimes the waves of time,
overwrite many thoughts
which take into a trance of fantasy and wilderness.

On the wet sand of your thoughts,
I lay many questions to find you,
colouring the characters of my passion
and building castles of hopes to bring them to life.

On the cold, dark nights of secrecy and loneliness,
I pat my desires sweet dreams of togetherness
with your empty statue,
assuming you would come from the galaxies of wonderland
and conquer the fears of my heart.

On the colourful spring of love,
in the name of our story,
I wave the wand of wishes around you,
capturing all moments of love that
can happen between innocent hearts,
I so much long to kiss your head and
break the spell of separation.

this is a good type of love poems, however under this simple love sole of the poem, you used some words like castle and galaxies of wonderland to add some fantasy.

I still have deep hopes of breaking the separation of space between me and my love too. Loves like that never die distance just hurts. A beautiful and painful piece. May both of us find the healing with our loves.
