Once Upon A Rainy Day Poem by T.L. Toadvine

Once Upon A Rainy Day

I can still taste you
Feel the moments
The magic
Rain falls, cars hiss by
Route 17 never sounded so sweet
Patio overlooking the courtyard
You're warm in my coveralls
Diabetes is killing me
But i wouldn't trade it
For any other fate
Kill me God!
I won't trade her brown eyes
For Eternity
I'll live in this moment
With her
