Once Upon A Time Poem by Doug Bri

Once Upon A Time

There was a kingdom without a king
they did so well without any royalty
Then one day a plague swept through the land
and a few brave men led the way
30yrs they fought, among themselves, pillagers and the plague

The harder they fought the more the people respected them.
Caring for the weak, helping the protect the poor. And then one day
the men died. The kingdom mourned that day.

The plague subsided and everyone among the land came to pay respects

The kingdom came back to its old ways. A monarchy soon came

But that is a story for another day.
