Oncor To Hardcore Poem by Hubert Wilson

Oncor To Hardcore

Obstinate electric meter reader not happy with me.
Noticeable attitude to just disagree.
Could not get him to respond.
Only a look of the not so fond.
Repeating my request.

Could he be putting my patience to the test?
Over and over I ultimately shouted.
Reacting with mere silence he flouted?
Piercing glare -
Observing as if no one even there?
Replying finally with a line rather blue.
Articulating, 'Go **ck yourself. I don't have to talk to you! '
Taken aback -
Inappropriate attack?
Oh, my electric utility wanted myself to pay to do -
Nothing new since they already were doing it to me through and through!

Strange but true!
