One Being Poem by James Gibbons

One Being

One Being

I am breathless, foundering, awe struck
Can't conceive One Being!
Wound the clock creating time.
What is it if not your bedside tic tock?
Do you really know if
everything had a beginning?

Astrophysicists call it singularity Who can number the infinity of an expanding universe,
is counting zero forever forward an oxymoron!

All monitored by the inflexible
forms binding energy and mass.
A fractured transposition from
instant primordial plasma
whose finger prints can be seen and measured.

Created spectral waves and particles
into an orderly fusion of atoms
and the star dust that makes you and I.

Who sweet talked DNA into replication?
let alone reproducing, is there sex in heaven?
No matter; its easier to believe.
Darwinian specie metamorphosed
into today's bugs and critters.

16 billion years elapsed,
which has no reference point
because time is relevant only to time/space;
not a tick toc clock. And you are always
the center ot the universe and so is your mate!

So is Some One the Rule Maker?
Did it really happen? Is there a Time Travler?
who rides the waves and commands the sea and stars.
