One Day Poem by hemu gupta

One day while sitting on the stairs of a pond,
i saw beautiful lotus in the centre of the pond,
as it was saying pluck me if any one can,
or remain stairing, as a crane,

it was beautiful and clean unlike water of pond, in the drain
lotus knows nothing about its state of worry, which was dirty and dark as it was surrounded by many hazards

what it missed in life or what it got
how can it know as it is an only flower
what it can do for others as it is very weak and know nothing
but can that flower be blamed for automn dark..
