One Day

I sit and wait
for the one day you look at me
and tell me forever is all we need.

I wait
for the day you give me the chance
to tell you just how I feel.

I did wait
for you to tell me
you love me.
You did.

I did wait
for you to kiss me..
You did.

Now all that leaves
is my one day
when you become mine forever.
