One day you will see,
One day you will regret ever meeting me.
For I am the one you love, the one you hate.
For I am your perfect mate.

They used to make jokes about You, and I.
All we ever did was look away from each other and sigh.
We both knew we loved one another.
We tried to hide it, and used hate as a cover.

Then you started showing love less than ever.
I wouldn't let you go, not then, not never.
You dated other people, and moved on.
I couldn't my love wasn't gone.

It's been 2 months and I'm scared.
Although I think you never cared.
I want, I need to impress you.
Just so I know what my Ex thought of me was true.
