One For The Life Of A 90's Kid Poem by Muhammad Sakib

One For The Life Of A 90's Kid

2000 Light Years Away
She opens up her worried world and lets me
Welcome To Paradise
So I sit here patiently watching the clock tick so slowly
Until you're in my sight and
Wanna be the one who takes the pain
Unless you've been there once
Well I hardly think so

Everything she does questions my mental health
It's crazy
But when you think of me
Do you fill your head with schemes
Better think again
Cause no one knows

I shuffle through my mind
To see if I can find
The words I left behind
Now it seems I can't keep my mind of you
My brain drifts back to better days we've been through
Like sitting on blacktop of the school grounds
The love I witched about I finally found

Sweet young boy plays with her brain
Cause I know that you're the
Best thing in town
My eyes are clear and now I'm cured
I only wanna be for sure
I'm just talking about my generation!
