One Magical Night Poem by Harry Singh

One Magical Night

There was a magical night
I was all alone
I closed my eyes
And I saw your picture
You entered that special secret corner of my heart
You are like a moist cold dropp of dew on the acrid grass
Twilight after a long dark night
The storm is an old friend of mine
The dark is someone who embraces me often
I believe someday I will take my last breath in your arms
Every dawn of the autumn will tell you my story
The faint pale moon in a clouded sky will narrate you my pain
I am with you in my sweetest dreams
But where are you for real
I imagined
You were here in front of me
I looked into your magical eyes
And I forgot to breathe
I lost the track of time
I entered the wonderland
Where there was only you and me
I tried to touch you
But there was no one
The dream was broken
The storm came back to me
The darkness embraced me.
