One Man Poem by Ice

One Man

The was once a man,
who when his father died wanted to know what was the worst thing in life.

He asked the lead monk in a nearby church wat it was and he said...
'The worst thing in life are sins'

Thinking that was the greatest thing he continued his journey and came upon a teacher,

Thinking teachers were smart and knew everything the man asked her and she said...
'The worst thing in life would have to be the kids that are picked on everyday due to their appearance'

He continues his journy and see's a house newly sold.

He walks up and knocks; a man answers and the man asked him, 'What is the worst thing in life'

The man who answered said, 'YOU! ! ! ' and slammed the door in his face.

Feeling slightly hurt he wondered outloud, 'So many answers, what could the the worst thing in life be? '

A nearby homeless person heard his question and said...

'The worst thing in life are in fact people themselves. We kill animals, destroy forests, pollute the water, air, and the soil; we kill another for no reason, fight wars with another, throw the poor into the streets and do nothing much to help them while others are so rich they waste money, we fight each other killing others in the way, we use nucleur wastes to kill or infect animals so they die a painful death and what did they do to us? ! nothing, absolutely nothing on earth except try and survive against us and everything we threw at them and although its bad to say for all the animals in this world living with us is hell and hell as we know it is heaven to them and that my son is the worst thing in life'

The man was shocked by what the man said and ran away to think.
Sitting at home he turned on the news and heard all the problems in life and he's like OMG that 1 homeless man was smarter than a teacher, a monk, and that man.

Knowing he probably didnt have much time he ran back to the homeless man to find a crowd.

Faster now he pushed through them all and came upon the homeless man's body.

The man freaked and asked what happened
an old lady answered, 'Hit and run'

The man was devistated and resolved that everyday he will do his best to fight man's destruction of the world all because of a stranger.
