One Man Standing Poem by Kestrel Quiambao

One Man Standing

I saw one man standing
Crying and crying
Told me to toe the line
And to never step in the mine

I saw that man running
Chasing the old blind man walking
Trades souls for gold
Oh yes, he has the world to hold

I saw that man and saw me too
Reads my every mute words do
Told me to carry a sphere in reverse
That contains the whole universe

I saw him and never again
He traveled light-speed in ten
He was the one, the one crying
The one man standing
