Those who oppose me
say I'm blind
as I am torn before them
torn away from them
as they seek what I offer
companionship
as one seeks another
I am their aide
their teacher
everything they ever need
as I give myself to all
but i am thrown from many
in disgust at what has been done
but not by me
by them
those who forgot me
left me behind
to pursue their dreams without me as a tool
as they are rejected
with no one to go to
I still come for them
hold them up when they cannot...
